Even though it was a little chilly, it was a great day for fishing. We had a good time, and Cpt Prestenbach gained valuable experience in locating the fish. He made certain that we would have a good time catching in this weather... Excellent work!!! Cpt. Looking forward to our next fishing trip.

The guide we originally booked cancelled on us the evening before our trip due to a family emergency. (It happens.) Fortunately Captain Payton was able to accommodate us last minute. Captain Payton knew his home waters like the back of his hand, and got us on some great reds! He was also able to explain in great detail about the fish biology, habitat, and fishing tactics. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable. While during a slow period we encouraged him to fish with us. Nothing is more humbling than when your guide hauls in a monster trout on his second cast. He can not only talk the talk but walk the walk as well.

Captain Payton and I had a fantastic fishing trip. I strongly recommend Payton and intend to book with him again. Due to a trip cancellation by a captain who had contracted Covid 19, we booked Captain Payton on short notice. The boat and equipment are excellent, and Payton was able to locate some excellent fishing spots. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Was extremely beneficial to our 11-year-old granddaughter. She caught a lot of fish and was ecstatic about the experience.

I had a fantastic trip with Captain Payton. We had a last-minute booking on a weekday and were extremely fortunate that he could accommodate us. His boat and equipment are of the highest quality. We wanted to do some bait fishing, but mostly artificial. We had a great time sight fishing for reds in the shallows. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I hope to return soon.

We had the best morning trip. He took us directly out and immediately on fish. Super fun guide who know his stuff! ALSO recommended Black Diamond Oyster Co to get out catch cooked. Five star all the way around.

I have been fishing for over 45 years and I have hired several guides. I have owned many boats. I have fished all over the world and I can honestly say that the fishing guide service provided by Captain P was one of the best trips and one that I won’t forget. I was able to have an experience with my son-in-law catching his very first fish for the very first time and Captain P made it the best! Don’t hesitate to go fishing with this awesome Guide Service!

This was our very first fishing guide service and it was an AMAZING one! I definitely would recommend Mr. Captain Payton for anyone looking to catch some great fish! He officially is the “Red Fish Whisper”! We came out looking to catch some Reds and he definitely delivered! I am super happy that I was able to catch my very FIRST Red ever and the multiple ones after that. He was super professional and very attentive to my our needs during our fishing guide! He knows all the right spots to fish! Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back in the future! We are hooked on Reds and Mr. Captain Payton is extremely knowledgeable in ensuring you have a great experience on your fishing guide trip.
